I am a social sculpture artist. Social sculpture is an artistic medium, developed by Joseph Beuys in the 1960’s, to describe the inherent quality of art to contain the potential for Revolutionary Change. I understand social sculpture to be independent of artifact’s form, reliant on the relational aesthetic. Social sculpture is about building the character of our community- our community unconstrained by geography- for a healthier planet. I seek to engineer social situations to force mindfulness of thought, words, and actions in order to motivate fruitful and positive action. I urge recognition of the potential within the individual.
